Product Details

Introducing the new Forest Path Socks by Jessica McDonald! This elegant design is knit with The Woolly Thistle Rambler yarn. The dainty colorwork at the cuff is just gorgeous in any color of Rambler and it's the perfect detail for your favorite pair of socks.

Rambler Yarn is 100% wool; British Breeds, Dorset, Corriedale, and Romney, were chosen for strength and softness in this yarn. Structurally, Rambler Yarn is a 3-ply, light fingering with a twist designed for socks. Jessica's Forest Path Socks are a perfect project to get Rambler on your needles!

The Set includes:

  • 2 Skeins of Rambler 100g (coordinating colors of your choice)
  • The Woolly Thistle small tote
  • Thistle Stitch Marker - selection varies
This yarn set does not include the pattern which can be purchased directly from the designer:

Sizing

(XS, S, M, L)

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Foot circumference: (6.75, 7.5, 8.25, 9) inches

From Jessica: "All of the sizes except for Large will be able to make two pairs of socks from two skeins of yarn. Size Large possibly could. I added 10% error to the yardage estimate, and as it stands, the yardage in the skeins would be 3 yards short of making two pairs from two skeins. If I adjust the error percentage down a touch, then you could definitely have the yardage numbers work out perfectly."

Needles

One 32-inch US size 1 (2.25 mm) (or size needed to obtain gauge) circular knitting needle.
