When looking to revamp our denim jacket, we wanted a modern take on the classic Type III silhouette. We integrated the hand pockets into the front panel seam for a more streamlined look and got rid of the inside facing front chest pockets in favor of larger, easier to access outer flap pockets. Two interior pockets.

We largely kept the fit the same as you'd expect: plenty of room to move but not boxy or oversized. The cropped body length hits just below the belt. Shop owner Daniel (pictured) is 5'11" 190lbs wearing a size large.

We've cut this jacket in 14oz. indigo selvedge denim from Vidalia Mills in Louisiana. The denim softens a ton with wear and subsequent washes. Raw, uncoated copper Japanese-made hammered buttons will quickly pick up patina. 9oz. camo twill pocket lining and gold thread - both made in the USA - round out the details on this jacket. 

Note - this item is a prototype sample. The inner pockets are two different styles as we tested different construction methods - see last photos - but the jacket is still fully functional. Expect the same quality you've come to expect from a Skinner garment. Final sale.
